ForTheCode.com' s inception was due to one of my fundamental desires to learn and share what I had learned. Its roots, then, were focused on the newest tool I was learning at that time - Ruby and Ruby on Rails. My goals were simple - try something, then write about it to both help others, and (more importantly at the time) remember how I accomplished anything - simply for the reinforcement.
Within a year the blog grew to over thirty (30) posts about Ruby and Rails. Although it sometimes sat around without fresh content - I was always working on something new and planned on updating the site.
Now that my schedule is clearly unrelenting, I have decided to turn this site into my personal repository for anything technical. Although I will continue to work with Ruby, I will not post as often about that tool specifically.
Instead, as I am pursuing my Master's degree, I plan to post small write-ups about subjects or things I feel are important to any student of Software Engineering.
These are simply my thoughts - but I hope they help someone in their studies.
